During April 2008 Julie Brook travelled and worked in the desert in Southern Libya. She returned to Libya in April 2009, with the assistance of a Scottish Arts Council award, working for 4 weeks in the in the volcanic region of Al Haruj followed by a further 2 weeks in the Jebel Acacus mountains in South West Libya
